Ecuador Trade and Opportunity Symposium successfully held in CCPIT
On Aug 10, 2010, CCPIT held Ecuador Trade and Opportunities Symposium for the coming Ecuador Government Delegation led by Mr. Rene Ramirez, Minister of National Planning and Development. More than 110 Chinese representatives from 50 large-scale State-owned enterprises, private companies and industrial associations participated in this symposium. CCPIT Vice Chairman Yu Ping attended the event and delivered welcome remarks.
Mr. Galo Borja, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Integration, Mr. Freddy Ehlers, Minister of Tourism and Mr. Nicolas Trujillo, Director of Invest Ecuador briefed the audience about the situation of some key industries of the country in the symposium.
With detailed and specific content, the symposium was highly appreciated by the Chinese companies. Ecuador Government Delegation and the Embassy of the Republic of Ecuador in China expressed their great gratitude to the Chinese companies which have been conducting businesses with Latin America and had representatives at the symposium. They also expressed their commitment to further supporting Chinese enterprises and facilitating their future visits to Ecuador.
