On the afternoon of Aug 27, Vice Chairman Yu Ping met with Mr. Danillo Astori, Vice President of Uruguay and his delegation. Vice Chairman Yu Ping said that as the largest trade and investment promotion organization in China, CCPIT pays much attention to strengthen the trade and business cooperation between China and Uruguay. So far, CCPIT has received 5 Uruguayan presidents in China and organized related activities for the business delegation accompanying the presidents. Today’s seminar will certainly provide better opportunity for further bilateral beneficial cooperation between Chinese and Uruguayan enterprises.

Vice president Astori highly praised the great impact of CCPIT in Chinese business community and the important role CCPIT plays in promoting China-Uruguay trade relation. He also welcomes more investment from China.

Mr. Roberto Kreimerman, Uruguay Minister of Energy and Mining, Mr. Pablo Genta, Vice Minister of Transportation and Public Works, Governor of Uruguay Central Bank, Mr. Sui Jianmin, Deputy Secretary-General of CCPIT and part of Chinese and Uruguayan business communities were also present at the meeting.
